Following several complaints by member Clubs, the National secretary wrote to Sandy Bryson, Head of the SFA Registration Department and here is the response

"An Agent/Representative cannot simply take a registered player of a youth club to a senior club and arrange for him/her to play for that club in a match.

This would clearly be a breach of Registration Procedure Rule 12.3 which states that in order to render a registered player of a recreational club to be eligible to play for a senior club the written permission of the player’s recreational club is required prior to each match"

Where there are instances of any breach of rule 12.3 then you should report the matter in writing to the SYFA National Secretary, David Little
